Definition and context: The auction edict is the enforcement court’s public notice for the specific auction. It is usually found in the Edicts Database and as a document in the auction file. Section 146 of the Enforcement Act narrowly concerns court changes to statutory auction conditions and refers to service of the edict.
Role question: Owners and creditors compare the edict with court orders; buyers identify the property, hearing and published conditions. The auction file check keeps the edict, valuation and land register extract in separate folders.
Distinction: The edict is neither the court valuation report nor a land register extract, and it does not replace review of the complete file. The buyer checklist identifies the additional records to read separately.
