Auction edict

Public notice of the enforcement court by which the date and conditions of the auction are made public.

In brief

The auction edict makes the proceeding visible to the outside world and names the date, the object and the auction conditions formulated by the court. Basis is § 146 Enforcement Act.

For owners, creditors and buyers the edict is the central anchor of the file. We review it separately from the valuation report and the land register extract; no statement on individual sequences is made without a file review.

Legal basis

Statutory texts for orientation; the version in force at the relevant time prevails.

This explanation gives a general overview of Austrian law and does not replace a lawyer’s examination of the individual case.
